Enjoy browsing my range of handmade wooden gifts and presents all with a wow factor. Some are from seldom seen unique woods, but all are from sustainable plantation grown, ethically sourced or meaningfully recycled from antique items or windblown local hedgerow and garden trees.
New wooden items are always being added. You can be confident that everything you see is designed and made by me, nothing is imported. Feel free to contact me if you would like something based on something in my shop or gallery or your own thoughts. I make a range of items to order, from small pieces to large sea chests. Remember to allow sufficient time for any custom-made items or to personalise an item for you. Items are engraved by my engraver who uses laser technology and the inscription is enamel filled.

Take a look at my gallery for  ideas or inspiration for that perfect special present. Wood is so timeless and terrifically tactile. If you’re unsure about going ahead and buying something today, peek at my testimonials from customers all over the world. But don’t take too long, every item is unique and when it has gone it has gone for good.
It is often hard to capture the true beauty and hue of wood. Each item is photographed individually. Be aware that the exact colour or hue of any item can be affected by your own computer settings. All wooden items darken with age naturally. Wood is a natural item and some woods have natural burrs and gnarls in the wood which are not faults they just add to the originality. Any knots in items used with food are filled for hygiene reasons and it will be stated where this has been done.

Care Instructions
All items have care instructions and labels. Food items should be oiled with food safe oils from time to time, or as necessary, but not olive oil which tends to go rancid. In the first few months it is beneficial to lightly scour or sand your chopping boards and rolling pins followed by a good oiling to impregnate. A little light sanding and re-oiling will enliven your rolling pin or chopping board and it will be as good as new. Over time with this care, the item is sealed and the need to oil becomes less frequent. Non-food items should be kept out of direct sunlight, dusted and be polished with beeswax from time to time to be rewarded with a deep shine in years to come.

All items are wrapped securely and dispatched first class post, courier or airmail . A 50% deposit is required for work to start on custom-made orders, the balance is payable on completion. For overseas customers, the customer is responsible for paying any customs duties the may apply and the appropriate paperwork will be sent with your item.

PayPal has proved to be our customers preferred payment method. Any credit card can be connected to a PayPal account. We do not have the capacity to accept card payments direct. This is the securest method of payment without the need for bank account information from you or us. If you do not have a PayPal account or wish to pay another way, contact me via the contact form or email, I can send you a PayPal invoice to your email address which you can pay in any way you wish.
