Needle Holder in Spalted Sycamore 07-87

The wood for this Needle Holder has come from the Highlands of Scotland and it has a wonderful grain pattern which has a shimmering affect under the light. The colours in the grain ranges from sandy cream to a light brown on the body of the holder. The lid of this holder has some sandy cream patches with some darker brown patches. This will hold tapestry wool and sowing needles up to 70 mm in length.

Finished with a natural bee’s wax
